Apply for the second round for evaluation which will take place
between April 16th, 2012 and May 31st, 2012.
In the course of the European project called RBUCE-UP, UniverSud Paris creates a database of potential scientific expert evaluators which aims at referencing scientists ready to proceed with peer review evaluation of scientific proposals and candidates applying through open calls for applicants.
The principle objective of the peer-review evaluation is to select the best science, independent of the discipline of the applicant.
Thus UniverSud Paris needs experts in a large range of scientific fields. The evaluation of proposals implies strict confidentiality, as proposals deal with state-of-the-art research and excellence. The evaluation will be carried out “at home”. No meeting in France or elsewhere between experts and/or with UniverSud Paris administration is foreseen. UniverSud Paris expects scientific expert evaluator to assess proposals in all fields in which they have a solid knowledge, but without necessarily being highly specialized in a given subject. The scientific individual review of proposals starts shortly after the deadline of the call. Each scientific expert evaluator shall evaluate a maximum of 7 proposals a day, at most 2 days per call.
The proposals will be evaluated against a set of published criteria by awarding marks and by drafting a written report resuming comments of the scientific expert evaluator in consideration of said criteria.
